Firepower is an Australian based company that manufactures hydrocarbon based fuel conditioners and machines, and on the strength of research into the company’s global business, has recently been awarded the UK Institute of Transport Management’s 2007 Innovation in Fuel Technology Award.
The Institute of Transport Management (www.itmworld,com) monitors standards in the UK transport industry through its ongoing research and communications programs.
The Institute promotes academic achievement, training and professionalism, and recognizes and awards industry members for significant achievements in the development of transport solutions.
The Institute says the honour recognizes how Firepower’s commercial products save its customers money while significantly reducing harmful emissions.
“Organizations need to look beyond simply using standard gasoline, diesel or heavy fuel oils alone,” the Institute said. “The use of hydrocarbon based fuel conditioners not only reduces harmful emissions of these fuels, they also reduce product maintenance costs while enhancing product/boiler performance.
“Firepower is an organization that is pioneering such innovative product offering, making them a deserving winner of the award.”
Firepower’s CEO, said he was delighted with the award, which also gives the company preferred supplier status.
“We greatly appreciate this recognition. It demonstrates the strength of our product portfolio, as well as the international reach of our business.”
“Firepower is dedicated to helping large diesel users save money and benefit the environment at the same time. Our diesel fuel conditioners improve lubricity and combustion, and appeal to many companies in numerous industries.”
